Furnace Maintenance: Changed the filter with client provided filInspected pressure switch tubing for functionality. Flushed the condensate line to ensure proper drainage. Cleaned and polished the flame sensor to optimize performance. Removed a bit of condensation from the ventor motor. Conducted diagnostic testing, confirming the system is operating efficiently. Humidifer pad is good for another season. System operating well. Happy New Year,

Payne furnace maintenance. Furnace is operating great at time of testing . Furnace manufactured in 2014 . Gas pressure was set high at 3.9 inw , I have reduced down to 3.5 inw ( factory recommend) . Blower motor capacitor rated for 15 ua and holding a good charge at 15.4 ua . Removed and cleaned furnace drain down , small amount of debris building up inside trap . Quickly visually inspected air conditioner, out side condenser is dirty and needs to be washed/ maintained before summer , along with black insulation around lineset is damaged and needs to be fix . Condensation will drip from that copper pipe when air conditioner is running .

Furnace Maintenance: Flushed the condensate P-trap and lines to ensure proper drainage. Inspected pressure switch tubing for functionality. Cleaned and polished the flame sensor to optimize performance. Conducted diagnostic testing, confirming the system is operating efficiently. Vaccummed the ventilation system. Furnace is operating beautifully. Changed batteries to thermostat and explained fan options of “on” running all the time and “auto” until set point reached. Happy New Year,

Upon arrival system was not running however there were no error codes recorded. Upon further inspection found W wire disconnected . Hooked up W wire and verified all other thermostat connections to ensure proper wiring. Set thermostat to celsius. Tested furnace, working well with no issues. RA temp 13c SA temp 46.5c Furnace is heating the home well after fixing wiring issue, will take some time to heat the home due to how cold it is

Furnace Maintenance: Flushed the condensate lines to ensure proper drainage. Switched the filter with clients supplied filter (16x25x5). Inspected pressure switch tubing for functionality. Cleaned and polished the flame sensor to optimize performance. Noticed a hairline crack in condensate green strainer. Reapplied sealing compound. Adjusted low stage gas pressure to meet manufacturer requirements of 1.7" w.c. successfully performed and completed diagnostic testing in both low and hi stage. system is operating beautifully. Furnace maintenance: polish the flame sensor. Flushed the condensation p-trap and condensation lines. Inspected the pressure switch lines. Tighten the bolts on the exhaust gasket. Successfully completed diagnostic testing in both first and second stage. Adjusted second stage gas pressure to meet manufacturer requirements. System is operating well. Fireplace maintenance: successfully completed fireplace maintenance. Stripped the firebox and cleaned the surroundings. Cleaned off ceramic logs. Cleaned out the pilot assembly. Goodman furnace repair . 3 amp fuse was blown , most like from water dripping on top . Replaced fuse and tested furnace . Furnace is operation with a new fuse but the collector box has been leaking for so long all the screw heads are broken and falling off . After the u it ran for about 10 mins water started pouring out of the collector box , making the furnace unsafe to use . I have issues a red tag for unsafe operation until either the heat exchange is replaced or the furnace is replaced .

Furnace Maintenance: Replaced thermostat batteries (4xAA). Removed cob webs from pressure switch tubes. Inspected Humidifier and pad for proper winter operation. Successfully completed first and second stage diagnostic testing. Furnace is running well for its age 2010 (14/15 years old). Customer is paying balance with cheque.

Steve and team installed a new furnace and a/c unit. They arrived as scheduled and completed the installation in a satisfactory and professional manner. Steve kept us informed throughout the process and made things right where required. Craig (A/C technician) needed to change pad for larger unit and even discussed options with us for our approval. We are very satisfied we chose Evans Plumbing and Heating.
