We're so happy to hear that you had a great experience with us. Thanks for leaving a positive review.

Complaint of loud noise coming from the furnace when operating. Found furnace running with inducer motor making a loud noise, possibly due to loose parts or Squirrel cage rattling slightly; attempted to adjust screws and tension on venter motor, but noise persists. Checked amp draw on the inducer motor—amp draw is within the range of the rating plate. Gas company recommended replacing venting; advised replacing all 3-inch black venting with new 3-inch approved venting. Request to change humidifier and humidifier tubing to copper. Advised that if repair costs are high, it may be a good time to consider replacing the system—discounts and waived service call fee available. Furnace operating normally but remains loud; should be monitored. Maintenance was performed on the furnace in November. Estimate will be sent for repairs

Customer complaint: Furnace making clicking noises before turning on. Furnace details: 1982 lowboy, low-efficiency model, consuming more gas than modern high-efficiency units. Issue found: Dirty flame sensor and spark rod causing intermittent pilot ignition failure, leading to delayed ignition and short cycling. Work performed: Cleaned flame sensor and adjusted spark rod. Adjusted and replaced wiring butt connectors attached to the gas valve. Tested furnace ignition—now ignites correctly. Combustion test performed; heat exchanger OK at this time. Recommendations: Furnace replacement recommended due to age, gas consumption, and lack of available parts. Estimates being sent for furnace replacement and new AC installation. Noted no room on electrical panel for AC; electrician may need to create space for breaker. If clicking persists, advise customer to turn off furnace power and gas supply.

Furnace Maintenance: Inspected pressure switch tubing for optimal functionality. Cleaned and polished the flame sensor to enhance performance. Performed diagnostic testing to verify efficient system operation. Stay warm,

Furnace Maintenance: Replaced media filter. Added orientation air flow arrows for proper filter placement. Flushed the condensate P-trap and lines to ensure proper drainage. Inspected pressure switch tubing for optimal functionality. Cleaned and polished the flame sensor to enhance performance. Performed diagnostic testing to verify efficient system operation. Stay Warm,
Keeprite Furnace and Genaire humidifier maintenance. Humidifier had slow drip from piercing valve over weekend, issue was resolved by customer tightening themselves. Inspected fitting for leaks, little bit of water present at brass fitting, tightened nut a little bit, no leaks at this time. Replaced genaire 990-13 pad, demonstrated how to change it incase they want to change it themselves going forward. Recommend changing yearly, try not to leave it in as long as the last one if possible Performed full furnace maintenance, furnace is getting up there in age but still working safely at this time. Heat exchanger in good shape. Motor amperages are on the high side but both are still just within their range limit. Found no other problem/concerns during visit

Work done well, installers were on time, friendly, and completely job efficiently.
Very professional and friendly service. Explained everything in detail.
I highly recommend Evans Heating & Cooling and in particular, Andrew, the technician for all your gas boiler needs. Service was prompt, courteous, friendly and thorough.
Jordan was the technician from Evan’s. Arrived in the time period that I was given. Jordan was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. This call was for a second opinion. He did a routine check of the furnace and then repeated it to confirm what was happening with it. Jordan explained what he was doing and the results. He then explained the alternatives for us. Jordan was able to give us a quote on replacing which was helpful for making a decision. Was very pleased with the service provided by Jordan.
Jordon has come out for my yearly furnace maintained a couple of times now. He is very thorough…and explains what he did to insure the furnace is running as it should. I would highly recommend Jordon, as I would anyone that has come out from Evans Heating and Cooling.
Excellent service from Jordan.
